The concept behind CARVV is based around the blending of a traditional steakhouse menu within a bistro setting, whilst also having some neo-bistro influences included in the menu as well.
We were involved in the implementation of the brand as a whole, from the conceptualisation of design to the branding of social media posts and their distribution.
We adopted a very methodical approach to understanding the brand, therefore we tried to carry out all the functions from both the client as well as the operation’s perspective.
From a design point of view, we sought a more full implementation of the materials provided, therefore we sought to create a look and feel that were as close to the core of the brand as possible. This was possible through the implementation of multilayered colour interfaces, and a colour palette that reflected the feeling the location was meant to give.
The story behind the logo utilised is the evolution of a typeface based logo from a complex design towards a minimal clean cut branding format which is implementable across the board, and to our client’s satisfaction this is exactly what we delivered.
We sought to bring out the best of the meats on offer, therefore our design team was also heavily involved in the photography of the location and their dishes. This helped us go full circle when the products where to be marketed across the digital spectrum as well as physically. This flexibility allowed us to curate the brand in an online manner that is very unique to CARVV.
